I feel sorry for all the weather forecasters around here. Really. I do. Our big winter weather event simply didn’t materialize. At least not when it comes to ice and snow. When it started sleeting right around 10 pm last night, I convinced myself that the forecasts were right on target. Surprise! We woke up to just a handful of school closings and pretty much dry roadways. Swing. And a miss! Still, don’t kid yourself, it is cold out there and going to get colder. Bundle up – keep the pets indoors – check on the elderly. Be a good neighbor.
